SkillStorm is honored to announce that it has earned the designation VETS Indexes 3-Star in the 2023 VETS Indexes Employer Awards. This is the second consecutive year SkillStorm has been recognized by VETS Indexes. The award is dedicated to the organization’s unwavering mission to recruit, hire, retain, develop and support veterans and those affiliated with the military.

The number of organizations participating in the 2023 VETS Indexes Employer Awards more than doubled since last year – but even in this highly competitive environment, SkillStorm distinguished itself among veteran employers and should be commended,” Altman said.
This year saw a record number of participants; a total of 239 organizations were entered in the VETS Indexes Employer Awards, more than doubling the number of participants in 2022. While each organization was considered, only the most supportive, veteran-friendly organizations made the cut.
VETS Indexes Employer Awards prides itself on being entirely objective and comprehensive when evaluating veteran employers. It has been featured on CNBC and several military-specific media outlets, including Military.com. The award results are determined by analyzing employers’ policies, practices and outcomes in detail across the following five categories:
- Veteran job candidate recruiting and hiring
- Veteran employee development and retention
- Veteran-inclusive policies and culture
- Support for members of the National Guard and Reserves
- Military spouse/family support
