CGI’s USDOL Registered Apprenticeship program connects aspiring technologists with SkillStorm’s Java Full Stack training, supported by Apprenti and Hiring Our Heroes. Participants receive 12 months of paid on-the-job training at CGI before being deployed to commercial and government clients as certified Java Full Stack developers, cybersecurity analysts, and data engineers. This partnership also supports the federal government's move toward skills-based hiring, particularly in tech positions, as the industry works to address the shortage of qualified professionals.
"By nurturing diverse talent and providing meaningful opportunities, we are not just filling jobs—we are shaping the future of the U.S. tech workforce," said Joe Mitchell, COO of SkillStorm.
