April 20, 2023, JACKSONVILLE, FL — SkillStorm, a customer-ready tech workforce to both private and public sector entities which fills technical resource gaps and accelerates technical careers, announced the appointment of Emile Trombetti as Senior Vice President of Government Services. A seasoned technology executive with a career spanning over 35 years, Mr. Trombetti has led IT and technology services initiatives with both the public and private sector including the Department of Defense, the National Security Agency, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

“Federal System Integrators (FSI) face a technical talent paradox: they face challenges in meeting contract requirements due to a shortage of certified and cleared technical resources. Too often, they rely on costly and legacy hiring and training practices that tie up significant budget dollars and are not customized to meet contract labor category requirements,” said Trombetti. “SkillStorm has a proven track record of building diverse and highly skilled technology teams in a cost effective manner, and I’m excited to be part of their compelling value proposition that provides FSIs with new approaches to cost effectively acquire technical resources while also creating and accelerating new technical career opportunities for experienced veterans and professionals.”

Trombetti most recently served as Chief Growth Officer for vTech Solution and held the position of President of mid-tier technology and management consulting firm Pragmatics. Prior to Pragmatics, Trombetti was a Senior Partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led projects across both the federal government and commercial markets.  He previously served as the Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations at General Motors and Bell Atlantic, and Head of Continuity of Business at Citicorp. As Senior Vice President, Trombetti will spearhead the SkillStorm Government Services business, working to help clients efficiently address the shortage of available technical skills, while also advancing the careers of historically underrepresented populations in the technology industry.

“Emile’s extensive experience in the federal and commercial technology sectors is absolutely crucial as we continue to grow our support for the Federal System Integrators.” said Neil Hassanwalia, CRO of SkillStorm. “We are thrilled to have him on-board and look forward to his leadership and guidance in the Federal sector.”
